【Summary】
In February, a semi-closed workshop was convened with the generous support of the Consortium for Global Japanese Studies. Participants included Professor Akihiro Ogawa and Lecturer Jonathan Glade from the University of Melbourne, Professor Philip Seaton of the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, faculty from Osaka University, and graduate students from all three institutions. In addition to promoting networking among the three institutions and discussion about future developments in Global Japanese Studies, the workshop offered graduate students opportunities to receive feedback on the results of their ongoing research.
