Events

In order to follow new research developments and expand international, interdisciplinary research networks, the Global Japanese Studies Education and Research Incubator holds an international symposium at least once a year, along with a monthly Global Japanese Studies Research Workshop which is conducted in a hybrid (online and in-person) and bilingual format. These events are open to all interested parties, so please consider attending. Further, every year the Incubator coordinates the Osaka Graduate Conference in Japanese Studies, an opportunity for graduate students to increase their abilities to present their research in English. Applications for the Graduate Conference are solicited yearly, so please consider applying if you are interested in gaining experience before presenting your research at an international conference.
